Women's Health refers to comprehensive women’s health care as well as health issues that are unique to women, including:
- Pregnancy
- Menopause
- Conditions of the Female Organs
Be sure to get early and regular prenatal care to ensure you have a healthy pregnancy. You should also get recommended breast cancer, cervical cancer, and bone density screenings.

How to Make an Appointment
Your Primary Care Manger will submit a referral to the clinic. Referral management will reach out to you in order to book your appointment.
TRICARE covers well-woman exams annually for women under age 65 with no cost-share or copayment. TRICARE offers coverage for many women’s health services, including:

Visitor Guidelines
Visitors are welcome at the discretion of the patient and Maternal Child Unit (MCU) staff. A patient may have up to (2) two visitors in addition to the parent/co-parent on admission to MCU. Visitors must be identified at the beginning of the patient’s stay and will be the only visitors authorized to remain after visiting hours. Immediate family members are the only visitors that can interchange throughout the patient’s labor to help prevent the spread of any communicable diseases.
- Visitors must adhere to the rules and regulations set for by the MCU staff.
- At any point that the visitor(s) are impeding in the patient’s care, MCU staff or the patient will ask them to leave the unit. i. Visitors may be asked to leave the facility at any point during their visit.
- Doula’s will be counted towards the patient’s two (2) visitors.
- Considerations will be made for those with fetal loss.
Other Guidelines
- The ward is locked for infant safety. Anytime the doorbell is rung, ask the name of the visitor and who they are visiting. Please ensure the visitor is one of the guests identified at the beginning of the patient’s stay and that the patient is currently allowing visitors.
- No Visitors under the age of 18 are authorized on the unit while the patient is in labor.
- Once the patient has delivered and is outside of their 2-hour recovery the maternal Child Unit’s visitation hours for any other guest aside from the 2 previously identified visitors will be 9 a.m.-9 p.m. During this time the patient may have as many visitors (maximum 4 at a time) as they want. This remains at the discretion of the patient and MCU staff. Also, during this time frame visitors under the age of 18 are authorized only if they are siblings of the newborn.
- While siblings are visiting there must be a competent adult present to care for and assume responsibility of individuals under the age of 18 that is not the patient.
