Dermatology
Dermatology is now available at the General Leonard Wood Army Community Hospital. Services offered include medical, procedural, and cosmetic dermatological care.
Specific conditions treated and services offered include:
- Acne
- Actinic keratoses (precancers)
- Atopic dermatitis
- Chemical Peels
- Excessive sweating
- Folliculitis
- Hair loss and other hair disorders
- Itching
- Keloids
- LASER treatments for hair removal and several other conditions
- Nail disorders
- Other skin lesions/growths
- Phototherapy
- Psoriasis
- Rashes
- Rosacea
- Skin cancers and full skin exams
- Vascular growths
- Warts including plantar warts
Services not offered at his time
- Pediatric patients, ages 0-17 years. These patients will be referred to network Dermatology services until further notice. If the pediatric patient meets criteria to be seen by the Telederm Nurse that service remains unchanged at this time.
- Mohs surgery for skin cancer.
- CO2 LASER treatments
To be seen by the Dermatologist please have your PCM place a referral.
